In 2004, a consulting company (CSG Health Solutions) brought an idea to convert excel-tracked clinical documentation improvement statistics to a database-driven web application. A partnership was formed. Corey founded Lionlike LLC, and began construction of DocuDB™ to track clinical documentation improvement. Throughout the years, Lionlike has grown and moved from being a home-based business in Culpeper, to having a commercial office in Shockoe Bottom, Richmond.

Corey previously worked as a mainframe operator (IBM OS/390) for Chesterfield County Government, a computer analyst and network analyst for Chesterfield County Public Schools. Having served 8 years in the Army Reserves, he’s no stranger to working in multi-tasking environments and is always accepting of a new challenge.

Corey is currently serving as an Adjunct Professor & Instructor for John Tyler Community College & Chesterfield County Public Schools at the Chesterfield Technical Center teaching Computer Networking.

Ray has had a varied & broad career in Technology. It started while working on a Chemistry Degree at JMU. He supported the professors’ office computers, and multiple systems connected to various instruments, including SGI Workstations, as the Assistant Computing Coordinator for College of Math & Sciences.

He moved on to the Science Museum of VA where he worked for the education department, supporting their PC needs, and building a new computer lab for use by the public and classes.

Next was Southern States Cooperative, where he started as a HelpDesk Support Technician, and within several years moved up to Manager of PC Support. The PC Support Team supported ALL Technology Hardware in all of SSC’s facilities including Retail, Manufacturing, and Warehouse Facilities.

As a newlywed looking for a change in scenery, he went to work as a Microcomputer Analyst at Chesterfield County Public Schools. As a product of Chesterfield he wanted to give back. He has enjoyed his 6 years there, and is still enjoying it.

In an effort to help Lionlike enhance its services Ray has come onboard as a subcontractor and is looking forward to Lionlike’s future!
